The Oahu North Shore Tour is known for its high energy and undeniably exciting photography adventure for surf and nature lovers and coffee connoisseurs. We’re going on an epic sightseeing tour for brag-worthy photo content!
Escape from the Waikiki jungle and into the heart of old Hawaii. We will stop in historic Haleiwa Tow nice cup of local cofgrabbingAfter we grab a search for in search of turtles or waves on the famous north shore. After this, we will head into the Waimea Valley for a breathtaking experience of their botanical garden and beautification. The walk out of the park will allow you to see all the flowers and birds of Waimea. Ul waterfall.
You will see Waimea Falls, where you can jump in if you have borts. Take photos of this beautiful forest-filled waterfall with little to no words of Waimea.
Want to see where it all goes down for the surfers? The Banzai Pipeline is a must-stop on any tour of Oahu. Whether you come to Hawaii in the summer, you must see it. The winter can hold waves over 50 feet while the summer’s clear waters will take your breath away. No matter when you are here, the Banzai Pipeline is a place you will never forget.
By this time your tummy is calling to you. The worry the food trucks are right around the corner. There will be a lot of options for you at this location. At the Kahuku food trucks stop, you can choose between the famous Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck or the Bald Guy from the Netflix series.
Now that you have filled your bellies with tasty food let’s sit back and relax as we drive windward. Come will make our way to the island known as Chinamans hat for some beautiful photos. You will have a chance to ask questions while we pass some fantastic unique topography and otiful photos—Ast of Oahu.
From here we head to the Byodo-In Temple for a more peaceful approach to this tour. You will enjoy the architecture of this replica built in the 1960s. Our goal is to get you here after all the big buses make their stop.
Then we are off to the windy spot known as the Pali Lookout. Meaning, cliff lookout, the views from here are fantastic. The sun should be just right to send light down to the valley floor for great photos. Take a walk around and read some of the plaques here. The history is fascinating.
Off to the last stops on the island. Let’s say we save the best for last. The Makapu’u and the Halona Blow Hole lookouts are so of the most famous lookouts on the island, and when you visit these spots, you’ll find out why. The colors you’ll see at both of these spots will be unique. The vastness of the Makapu’u lookout to the power you’ll see at the Halona Blow Hole will surely be a memory you’ll keep with you for a long time.
Before we head back into Waikiki, we want to leave you will a good taste in your mouth. That will be from the Malasadas we pick up at Leonards. The famous Portuguese donuts are worth trying, even if it is just a bite. This is our treat to you.

Oahu Photography Tours offers you a unique opportunity to experience the infamous North Shore of Oahu. You’ll be in excitement on a sightseeing adventure curated intentionally to include unforgettable views that make for gorgeous photographs. Expect pristine beaches, pounding shore breaks, surfing daredevils, the green sea turtle, waterfalls, lush gardens, and this is only a taste of what’s to come!
You’ll kick start the day at Green World Coffee Farm, a small local farm known for producing excellent 100% Hawaiian coffee. Get your caffeine fix while acquainting yourself with the unique flavor locked in Hawaiian coffee. We will then get a photo of you next to the world-famous “Haleiwa” town sign!
Next, you head over to the legendary dive spot of Sharks Cove, a significant hotspot during the summer months for free-diving and scuba diving. Be consumed by the panoramic views and see if you can capture the atmosphere’s spaciousness in your photos!
Afterward, you will be taken to Waimea Falls and enjoy a trolley ride to get an excellent vantage of the cascading waterfall where you can jump in if you have bathing shorts. You’ll be able to photograph this force of nature from a great perspective as it sprays mist and pounds water onto lava rocks. Ask your guide to show you how your smartphone can take fantastic photos of the falls. There will be time for you to explore the beautiful meandering pathways weaving through the flora and lush tropical jungle as you make our way back to the park entrance. You may even be lucky enough to spot a rare native Hawaiian bird perched on native trees – bring your zoom on this tour!
Next, you cruise over to the Banzai Pipeline in search of the perfect wave: crisp, fluid, and rolling. These are the kind of waves you’ll find only on Oahu’s North Shore, a top Oahu attraction for surf lovers. Stretching for more than 7 miles, the spectacular beaches of the North Shore host the world’s premier surfing competitions during the peak wintertime months, including the Super Bowl of wave riding and the Vans Triple Crown of surfing. These massive waves can sometimes swell up to fifty feet! The big, glassy winter waves of this legendary surf mecca attract the best surfers in the world.
Before heading to lunch, you will stop by Turtle Beach to look for the basking Hawaii Green Sea Turtles. Being one of the only sea turtles in the world that lays itself on the white sand, you will have the chance to capture one of a kind photographs of the prehistoric reptile. A local volunteer group will be able to tell you who is lying on the beach along with their weight, age, and sex. It’s an excellent site to see, and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you will see the turtles on the beach, but we will make sure to do our very best to make that happen.
Oahu’s North Shore is also home to a flourishing food truck and local food scene, and we take full advantage of this delicious variety of food by stopping in to enjoy lunch. There is a hui (a lot) of meals to choose from to please every pallet: Enjoy anything from garlic shrimp, fresh fish, and jambalaya to giant burgers and Acai bowls right on the outskirts of Haleiwa! Oh, so ono!
To walk off the meal, you can stroll through the charming old town of Haleiwa, a pleasant local town filled with local style, country ambiance, classic surf shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Locals say that if you want to experience the atmosphere of Hawaii from 50 years ago, visit the North Shore! For those who love a real-time warp, this is a must-do activity on Hawaii’s North Shore.
